- person going to a job interview, practice talking in the mirror. goes to get the bus, but the bus doesn't come, X go past the other way and your still waiting. cuts to the manager tapping his fingers, looks at his watch then puts a cross through the CV (this is shown as flash forward). Twitching nervously looking at his watch and around. paper boy leaves his bike outside a house to deliver a paper. person then takes his bike and rides off. paper boy looking confused. last shot person riding away frantically.
- Protagonist is at his interview being asked numerous questions relating to how much does he want this job, are you reliable ......., for each of the questions there is a flash back to the effort he went to get to the interview. At the end of the interview he is told that he could be a valid member of the team and told to wait outside, hes called back inside all happy expecting to get the job and then gets turned down!
- Protagonist waiting for a bus in casual clothes, waits for a while and the bus doesn't turn up on time, checks the time table and has plenty of time to walk to the next stop which is insight just up the road. he starts walking and the bus passes him (if we can get a shot of two going past then we will film that). gets to the next bus stop and the bus turns up but he cant find his ticket. it pulls off and he finds it in a pocket. looks at it in relief as another bus is coming, the ticket then blows away he chases frantically looks back at the bus stop he's going to and its pulling off. fed up of being unlucky with the buses, he puts his backpack on the floor various shots of the bag and him stripping off shown in quick shots, with at the end of it a panning shot of the protagonist showing, running shoes, pulled up socks, shorts, florescent jacket and running headphones/ glasses. final shot is a long shot of him running off into the distance past other bus stops.
